My name is Stephanie and I’m a baker located in southeast Michigan (Northern Oakland County to be more specific). I am also a lover of Jesus, a wife, daughter, sister, and friend.

After graduating from Michigan State University in 2009 with the hopes of pursuing a career in journalism, I realized that God had a different and better plan for me. With some extra free time I found myself in the kitchen, developing a new passion.

The kitchen was a familiar place, a place where some of my fondest memories have been formed. I always loved cooking spaghetti sauce and filling cannolis with my grandma and mom, along with eating cookie dough while baking chocolate chip cookies with my dad and siblings. Food brings people together, it stirs great conversation and, most of all, it brings joy.

I found that same joy baking, years later, in my own kitchen. After a day of work, I would come home and relax over a bowl of cake batter, cupcake tins, pretty wrappers and buttercream frosting. Soon, these fun nights turned into actual orders for customers and now I am baking for weddings, birthdays and local coffee shops and cafes every week! One Thirty Nine Delights has become more than I could have imagined and I love the adventure it has taken me on.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Please feel free to message me with any questions or inquiries. I would love to chat about baking for your upcoming event and creating a sweet memory for you!

"For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139: 13-16
